I want to go to a spa for my honeymoon and do a couples massage with my new husband. I found a spa near the place we will be staying that charges 0 for 50 minutes but can’t find much for prices at other spas in the area.

Is this a good price or should I keep looking for a better deal? Will they all cost about this much? Any other information would be great.

I want to buy my girlfriend a massage as a gift at a fancy spa place in my area of Columbus. I was thinking the Swedish massage. Good idea or should I steer away from the Swedish? Any other types of massages/body treatments I could look into for her? She has a lot on her plate with classes and such so I want to get her something that will relax her and such.

I’m getting a degree in massage therapy. I might work at a spa, or do some work on the side. I’m curious how many times people are getting asked for a happy ending, how to avoid it and what type of environment I should try to work in so I can be sure I don’t get harrassed.

My massage therapist quit the spa she used to work for, and now takes clients in her home.

I don’t mind tipping at a spa, because she probably only gets an hourly rate and most of the cost of the massage goes towards the facility’s rent/electricity/supplies, etc.

My question is: If I am going to her house for a massage, how much (if any) do I tip? She gets 100% of my fee, so is a tip necessary?
