Customer Review: Great Resource for National Certification exam
The pathology guide was concise and much needed in studying for the national certification exam for massage. By studying this book, I found out that there was some stuff I didn’t learn in massage school but needed for the national exam. Who would have known?
AS YOU probably know, contraindications are tested on this exam and most are in this book.
Other great resources for the national certification exam for massage include–
The Ulimate Study Guide for the National Certification for
Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Key Review Questions and answers (Topics: Clinical Pathology and Recognition of Various Conditions)Volume 2 written by Patrick Leonardi
The other two volumes of this series cover anatomy and physiology and massage theory, application and assessment. These had great questions that I found to be quite relevant and comprehensive for the exam.
Customer Review: Buyer Beware- incorrect information
All you have to do is look at the referances the author sited for this book to be scared by it- few and unreliable. Please note that there are sections in here that are absolutely incorrect. If you just want to pass National cert. this is a great book. But if you honor your proffession and wish to know pathology – not just what National Cert asks you (often incorrectly)…. Look more. Please respect yourself and your client, and buy a book with complete and correct information Click here for more info on this massage product
