I understand that a Massage and Physical therapist are two different occupations, but what degrees do you go through that are different for each? I’ve looked it up, and it says for a Massage Therapist, all you need is a certificate/degree in Massage work. I find that hard to believe, and was wondering if there was something that the internet lacked to tell me?

Customer Review: Hello 1972!!
Just warning you that this video was made in 1972!! and you can tell, the hippies make you laugh a little. Other than that, it was a great video, teaches easy massage technique that any one can learn. My husband and I watched the video together, and we both learned how to give a nice massage. I never expected to get an hour massage from my husband, but I did with this video!!

Customer Review: Complete Body Massage with all the trimmings
Well organized, lovely to look at (nudity wtihout the clumsy lewdness that infects some massage videos) and comprehensive, this is a video to share with a loved one. It’s more an experience, than a video presentation. The introductory material takes you through preparing a massage area from scratch (easy!), setting up some massage oil, relaxing your partner and providing soothing background stimulation like music and scent.

The massage itself is presented in great detail with real expertise. The people in the film are attractive and really do look like they are being massaged. You watch a real massage move over the Chest and Abdomen, Head, Arms, Hands, Front of the legs, Feet, Back of the Legs and Back. Individual strokes are shown and explained well. You really can follow along stroke by stroke, trying things as you watch. There’s also lots of information about the body and the senses. The main emphasis throughout is on pleasure. An obliging father-to-be performs head-to-toe (actually, toe-to-head) massage on his appreciative partner in this too-good-to-be-true instructional video. Still, it’s worth a shot at guilting your partner into one of the three massages described in detail by massage therapist Michelle Kluck as the couple demonstrates each stroke. Much of the 25-minute video is dedicated to the feet and legs, as Kluck emphasizes the therapeutic benefit on the onslaught of symptoms a pregnant woman deals with in these body parts–leg cramps, edema, varicose veins, stretch marks, and such. Time is also spent on a back and shoulder massage and one for the head and neck. Kluck outlines the special conditions of a prenatal rubdown (no lying on the back or stomach, etc.) and on- screen graphics pop up to show reflexology points and a cutaway view of the pregnant body. Kluck asserts that massage can prevent many prenatal ailments without backing up her claim, but you don’t have to tell your partner that part. –Kimberly Heinrichs

I loved this video. My husband found it very easy to follow and he gave me a wonderful massage on my legs & feet, back & shoulders and my head & neck.
