I’m learning massage and have found this CD to be particularly helpful as a way to pace my sessions and relax into a very giving attitude. The pieces seem perfectly timed to allow an amazing ebb and flow. I have a few other CDs that are pleasant, but this one truly makes me feel transcendent.
Customer Review: An Easy Winner
A strange thing happens every time I listen to this album – I hear the first few cuts and then there’s a blur and the last cut is going by. This isn’t meant as a negative, but it does point out that this is one of those albums that quickly blends into whatever I’m doing and becomes part of the environment.

Much to my surprise, Kevin Kern is a native Detroiter (there’s not a lot of New Age music getting made up here). His training is classical, with a lot of mentoring by George Shearing. The combination has made him a master of improvisation, with a knack for taking the melodic path. Winding Path is his sixth album, done in 2003. It spent some 15 weeks on the charts, which is a pretty solid accomplishment.

An obliging father-to-be performs head-to-toe (actually, toe-to-head) massage on his appreciative partner in this too-good-to-be-true instructional video. Still, it’s worth a shot at guilting your partner into one of the three massages described in detail by massage therapist Michelle Kluck as the couple demonstrates each stroke. Much of the 25-minute video is dedicated to the feet and legs, as Kluck emphasizes the therapeutic benefit on the onslaught of symptoms a pregnant woman deals with in these body parts–leg cramps, edema, varicose veins, stretch marks, and such. Time is also spent on a back and shoulder massage and one for the head and neck. Kluck outlines the special conditions of a prenatal rubdown (no lying on the back or stomach, etc.) and on- screen graphics pop up to show reflexology points and a cutaway view of the pregnant body. Kluck asserts that massage can prevent many prenatal ailments without backing up her claim, but you don’t have to tell your partner that part. –Kimberly Heinrichs

I loved this video. My husband found it very easy to follow and he gave me a wonderful massage on my legs & feet, back & shoulders and my head & neck. This video is pleasant to watch.The voice-over sometimes veers off into the “new age mode” in a distracting manner.The couple is attractive but much of the film is her massaging his gorgeous legs,glutes and back.I think many women will enjoy this video, which is sensuous but tasteful.It does not attempt to provide any instruction but the viewer should be able to follow along.I watched it a dozen times and gave it away as there are better tapes on the market.

I bought this item, but amazon sent me a wrong item. the one they sent me looked exactly the same, but it was without the heating pads as shown in the picture. even the replacement was the same.so i think amazon doesnt carry this version of the slipper at all. and they are ok, not a very good quality. mine had a button to press to have a vibrating action, which was by the way does not have much massaging effect. so overall, a poorly made proiduct in my opinion. the sole is also hard and not flexible enough for walking around when you are not using the massage.
